COOL CUCUMBER SLICES -
EASY SNACK FOR CHILDREN (and adults)!
Here is a recipe for a wonderfully easy and simple - yet healthy cucumber snack for children. There are no true measurements for this snack. We only recommend that you lightly administer the ingredients. Don't be too heavy handed - especially with salt, pepper and vinegar. After all - the babies have to eat this!
Cucumber Snack Recipe
1 or 2 large cucumbers
organic apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
Bowl or shallow plate
Wash the cucumber(s) thoroughly
Remove some skin if you want - but the skin is healthy so leave it on if you can
Slice the cucumber into semi - thin slices
Slice desired amount into the bowl or plate
Spread the cucumber slices out evenly
Pour 2-4 capfuls of vinegar and/or lemon juice over the slices
Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on the slices.
Serve chilled or at room temperature
