Quick Healthy Cucumber Snack Recipe For Kids

COOL CUCUMBER SLICES -

EASY SNACK FOR CHILDREN (and adults)!


Here is a recipe for a wonderfully easy and simple - yet healthy cucumber snack for children. There are no true measurements for this snack. We only recommend that you lightly administer the ingredients. Don't be too heavy handed - especially with salt, pepper and vinegar. After all - the babies have to eat this!


Cucumber Snack Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 or 2 large cucumbers

  • organic apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • sea salt or pink Himalayan salt

  • black pepper


Supplies:

  • Bowl or shallow plate

  • knife

  • cutting surface

Directions:

  1. Wash the cucumber(s) thoroughly

  2. Remove some skin if you want - but the skin is healthy so leave it on if you can

  3. Slice the cucumber into semi - thin slices

  4. Slice desired amount into the bowl or plate

  5. Spread the cucumber slices out evenly

  6. Pour 2-4 capfuls of vinegar and/or lemon juice over the slices

  7. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on the slices.

  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature
