The Mucus Free Diet - How To Get Rid Of Snot, Phlegm and Discharge With Diet

Wanna know how to get rid of excess mucus and vaginal discharge?

You need to adjust your diet. Most people don't associate mucus production with food- but they go hand in hand. We've been told most of our lives that mucus comes from having a cold. While this is true, it's not the sole reason for excessive mucus production. It's almost always food. Things like pizza and ice cream, and even processed sugars - these are the common everyday culprits for heavy mucus production.

Our bodies produce mucus for many reasons. The main reason is to get rid of bad germs, toxins, dirt and other nastiness that gets inside us. Food is the major delivery system that smuggles these unwanted pathogens in. Mucus is apart of your body's defenses. If your body was a nightclub, mucus is the bouncer. It rounds up the trouble makers and throws them out of the club.

If you are a woman, you may have found that your body sometimes produces an overload of vaginal wetness, even when you are not sexually aroused or pregnant . This "wetness" is actually mucus that your body is producing to try and get rid of the unwanted little nasties that are setting up shop in your reproductive system.

5 Types Of Abnormal Discharge:

  • Curdy White Discharge – looks kinda like cottage cheese, and can be accompanied by itching or swelling, indicating Candida (Yeast Infection).

  • White and Creamy Discharge - This is usually caused by bacterial vaginosis, which involves bad bacteria invading the vagina. Often accompanied by swelling and burning.

  • Foamy White Fluid Discharge - Foamy discharge can be white, or another colour, and often has a bad smell. Could be indicative of a larger problem.

  • Watery Discharge – An increased amount of white, watery discharge can indicate a serious issue.

  • White Milky Discharge – milky and cloudy discharge could mean a worm infection, which is very treatable.

One of the biggest causes of abnormal vaginal discharge (aside from pregnancy and STDs) is a poor diet. Our bodies are trying desperately to tell us that we need to lay off the Cheetos, Slurpees and syrupy pancakes. Vaginas have a very complex and efficient cleaning system. Vaginal mucus (and all mucus for that matter) is really your friend, because reflects your body’s state of health. If your discharge is too thick, or its discolored, or it stinks, then you know you probably need to adjust something in your daily food regiment.

Mucus build up may be gross and uncomfortable, but it is your body's way of helping to defend you and warn you that you have a problem that needs your immediate attention. It contains all kinds of enzymes, antibodies and proteins to kill the bad guys.

Mucus acts as a barrier and it traps particles allergens, pollen, bacteria, viruses, etc. It even helps keep all of your moist parts well - moist! So, mucus actually has a lot of super awesome functions - BUT -No one wants to be oozing snot all day or to be stopped up all night. It really does suck.

But your aim should not be to get rid of mucus, more so- it should be to get rid of your body's reason to keep making unwanted mucus.

Most extra mucus comes from a crappy diet. Unhealthy foods have a high acid content and are considered by Dr. Sebi to be "non-electric foods".

If you find that you have an over-abundance of mucus production from the sinuses, nose, throat, ears, even the genitals - then you are probably ingesting too many substances that your body deems unhealthy - and is trying to get rid of.

Following Dr. Sebi's, or Arnold Ehret's mucusless diet will help your body accomplish this.
